Gulf Daily News- Bahrain-based artist Jessica Watson-Thorp will exhibit her latest paintings at her home-cum-studio on November 9. Ms Watson-Thorp is an emerging artist in Bahrain and this is the fourth year she is exhibiting here. The exhibition, titled Fen tre sur le Monde, will showcase handmade prints featuring images of South France, Istanbul and Bahrain in scenes cut down to simple shape and line, giving her latest work a contemporary feel.

It will feature warm burnt oranges, Prussian and cornflower blues, acid yellows and lazy greens, all used in an intoxicating manner.

The Australian artist has lived and worked in Bahrain since 2003 and has exhibited her work both here and in Australia.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am to 6pm at 12 Yateem Gardens, Adliya.
